Horia concentrates his practice in all areas of medical malpractice defense and other health care matters litigation, municipal insurance litigation, criminal defense, commercial litigation, probate litigation, and some family law litigation. He received his law degree with honors from the Michigan State University College of Law in 2009. Since then, he has worked as an assistant prosecuting attorney in Wayne County, where he had served citizens of Wayne County by successfully trying to verdict over fifty trials. Horia also has extensive prior private sector litigation experience in medical malpractice, municipal matters, and business and commercial litigation.
Prior to attending law school, Horia graduated from Spring Arbor University with an undergraduate degree in social studies. While at Spring Arbor, Horia was a two-sports varsity athlete, soccer and tennis, and received national recognition for excellence in both. Previously, he was a local graduate from Mona Shores High School where he competed as a standout soccer and tennis player while also serving as the football team’s place kicker.
Outside of work, Horia enjoys spending time with his wife Jillian and their four children, Cameron, Evie, Stella, and Laney, playing tennis and soccer, and traveling. Horia is based in our Muskegon office, and is an active participant in the ever-growing Lake Michigan lakeshore community.
